Company Benefits

The Venture Logistics Plan year is from May 1 until April 30 of each year

Benefit Eligibility

Full Time Hires:  A benefits package for full time employees who work 32 hours or more, will be included in the new hire packet.

Part Time, Temporary employees and Owner Operators receive no benefits through Venture Logistics.

Benefits Drivers are eligible for benefits on the 1st of the month following their six month anniversary.  Enrollment in benefits is dependent on your timely submittal of your benefit elections. Contact Human Resources for information.

Available Benefits

The following is a list of our benefits. Descriptions of the benefits are included in the new hire packet. The benefit cycle is by the calendar month.

Health Insurance- If elected, the plans include comprehensive coverage and is available for employees, spouses, and dependents. You may choose one of two plans.  Please refer to the plan details for more information.

Dental Insurance- If elected, the plan includes dental hygiene, bite x-rays, cavity care, oral surgery, etc. Coverage is available for employees, spouses, and dependents. Please refer to the plan details for more information.

Vision Insurance- If elected, an eye exam is included, an allotment for glasses or contact lenses, etc. Coverage is available for employees, spouses, and dependents.  Please refer to the plan details for more information.

Voluntary Short Term Disability – If elected, the plan will cover the employee after they are absent from work 7 days for an illness or disability and if not covered by Workman’s Compensation.  Please refer to the plan details for more information.

Voluntary Long Term Disability -  If elected, the plan will cover the employee after they are absent from work for an illness or disability for 90 or more days. Please refer to the plan details for more information.

Voluntary Life Insurance- Coverage is available for employees, spouses if they are not employed at Venture Logistics, and dependents.  If elected, the plan is portable should you leave Venture Logistics employment.

Other Benefit Programs

Employee Assistance Program  (EAP) 

This benefit is available for all employees and is confidential.  The EAP has professional counselors available to assist you and your family with personal issues you might be facing or questions you might have. 

401k Plan

Full-time employees may elect the 401K when they are eligible for benefits. Those who have been employed at least one (1) year with the Company may be eligible to receive a discretionary company match. Human Resources will provide additional detailed information.
