Our dispatchers have been with us over 10 years and are exclusively dedicated to your scheduled runs. With no touch freight and just in time deliveries, Venture's dispatchers have a conscientious concern to get our drivers home weekly and most weekends. We know the importance of family and home life.
Being selective with freight and routes, we are mainly a Regional Carrier. Venture Logistic's primary operating areas include: the Midwest, the South to include TN, AL and AR, Southeast including NC, SC, GA, FL and some Southwest. On occasion a client may ask us to do a run to Connecticut, Maryland or Massechusetts. We know where drivers want to drive.
Venture's truckload services include dedicated, general commodity, and expedited transportation. Venture also has an in-house premium broker logistics service. We offer diversity in transportation with specific expertise in multi stop and cross dock operations.
Venture's locations: At the Corporate Offices in Indianapolis, Indiana, we have a 30,000 sq. ft. warehouse facility, a 65,000 sq. ft. consolidtion center in Lafayette, Indiana and a terminal in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Growth/Equipment: We are currently operating at a 20-30% growth rate. Venture's company owned equipment ranges from 1999-2005 Convention Freightliners, Detroit Engines models. Venture owns some CATS. They are tandem axle tractors or trailers. E-Track equipped. Venture employs about 35 owner/operator units. Our fleet has 105 late model tractors and 215 trailers, all of which are Qualcomm satellite ready. They are all 53 feet long and air-ride equipped.
Venture Logistics, Inc.'s Safety Orientation Program usually runs from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Most drivers tell us they are impressed with the detail presented by our Director of Safety. Our successful Orientation Program has resulted in long term employment for our drivers. You will know what is expected of you and how to relay information to the office and to your dispatcher.
