Price Adjustment

Dear Customer:

Please be advised effective September 15, 2008, Venture Logistics will implement an increase in freight charges on less than truckload shipments originating from, or destined to, points in the States of AZ-CA-CO-ID-MT-NV-NM-OR-UT-WA and WY.

This will result in a increase equal to five percent (5.0%) of the net freight charges for Less than Truckload shipments which weigh 5,000 pounds or less.  Shipments which weigh 5,001 pounds or more, shall NOT be subject to this increase. 

This increase will be shown on our freight bills as a “origination charge” or a “destination charge”. This increase is made necessary to offset substantial cost increases associated with the movement of shipments from and to the affected areas.  Venture Logistics has not Increased its base rates since April of 2006 and rates in others areas served are not affected by this action.

The company provides scheduled surface transportation through a controlled network of terminal associates that are located on or near over 40 airport locations in the United States. High quality service is effected through using direct routes between airports as well as the use of OlivAire's 90 door central sorting hub in Indianapolis, Indiana. OlivAire also has regional facilities in Fort Wayne, IN, Lafayette, IN, Laredo, TX, Edison, NJ, Duncan, SC, Chicago, IL and Vernon, CA.

OlivAire is dedicated to providing cost effective alternatives to air transportation of shipments that must be delivered at a specific time but that require a more economical approach than traditional air freight service. OlivAire is positioned to provide a high quality solution to shipments that are a bit less time-sensitive than traditional air freight.

OlivAire focuses its services on air freight forwarders, air freight integrated carriers and brokers that are active in business relationships in both the domestic and international markets. The company provides "Airport to Airport Express" service for its customers that is designed to meet each customer's specific needs. Upon request, the company can also arrange for pick-up and /or delivery of shipments for customers for an additional charge.

The company does not market its services directly to shippers or consignees and does not compete in the small package shipments markets. There are no significant size or weight restrictions and the company strives to solve unusual problems for its clients.
